Buyer's Agent Commission Rebate

Definition of term

A Buyer's agent commission rebate is a partial refund of the buyer's agent commission paid to the buyer at the close of escrow. The agent pays the rebate to the buyer at the close of escrow and it's typically a percentage of the buyer's agent commission. The Buyer's Agent Commission Rebate is a way for buyers to get some money back after closing on their home. Buyers can use the rebate to help cover closing costs, pay down their mortgage, or for other purposes. Some real estate agents will offer a buyer's agent commission rebate.
