The selling agent also commonly referred to as the buyer’s agent is a real estate agent who represents the buyer in a real estate transaction. They are technically referred to as a selling agent since they are the ones selling the home where as the listing agent is the one listing the home. The selling agent is a real estate agent who represents the buyer in a real estate transaction. The buyer's agent is responsible for helping the buyer find a suitable property and negotiating the terms of the purchase.
